Community oriented, SABlack initiated the local, Abstinence Day event at the Carver Library in partnership with The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. During the campaign, SAblack reached out to the community, and local east side libraries to coordinate a local campaign, which allowed area teens to come in and take the quiz... During the annual event, we have hosted, Ms. Teen Texas, local and nationally known authors, and artists.
